O aguardado game de luta "Mortal Kombat" chegará às lojas dos Estados Unidos no dia 19 de abril. De acordo com a Warner Bros., o jogo de luta chega uma semana depois ao Brasil.
Segundo a Warner Bros., distribuidora do game de Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3, "Mortal Kombat" custará R$ 199,90. Não há planos de lançar a versão de luxo, que acompanha um controle arcade e outros bônus no país.
O título está em desenvolvimento pelo estúdio NetherRealm Studios, formado por ex-funcionários da Midway, supervisionado pelo criador da série e diretor de criação Ed Boon e produzido por Hector Sanchez. A promessa é que o título retorne com lutas sangrentas, os golpes mortais chamados da Fatalities e conteúdo maduro. O game ainda apresenta gráficos em 3D com jogabilidade 2D, visto em outros jogos de luta como "Street Fighter IV".
